The Transit Hub is an 800,000 square foot major transportation venue located at the heart of the new World Trade Center. When fully completed in 2016, it will serve nearly 250,000 commuters and pedestrians daily. The 3D model has been manually built from architectural plans. The level of accuracy varies from section to section. Rafters, portals, glass envelope and skylight have a precision to the millimeter range while lower portals, sub-portals, corridors, stairs and arches limit to the inch level.

Because of the nature of the project, the model is split into to major components: the Oculus and Path Hall.
